(The "Requires X Points" statement can be ambiguous. For further upgrades, it may require a specific number of points already invested in that tree before unlocking the upgrade, so note them in the tables. It costs one Knowledge Point to access a new upgrade. Unlocking Monkey Knowledge points from the lower rows of a tree after purchasing a respec will not charge Monkey Money if those points had been unlocked previously. Subsequent rows are fixed at the same price as the sixth row. The Monkey Money requirements for each knowledge point increases per row, with the fourth row of points costing 250, the fifth costing 500, and the sixth costing 1,000. This was done to balance out more powerful Monkey Knowledge upgrades and force the player to either consider buying the Monkey Knowledge point or save up their Monkey Money for other purposes. In Version 15.0, a change was made where the fourth row of upgrades and further would also require Monkey Money to be purchased. Using this will refund all spent Monkey Knowledge Points so players can assign them to other Knowledge, and any Monkey Money invested in a Knowledge Point does not need to be reinvested. A respec option allows the player's Monkey Knowledge to be reset for a cost of 2,000. This can be helpful for testing towers or for practicing C.H.I.M.P.S. Monkey Knowledge can be toggled on or off. A single Monkey Knowledge Point can also be purchased for $0.99 USD. However, it costs $9.99 USD, and level 30 can often be reached very quickly so it is generally not advised. It is possible to immediately reach Level 30 by going to the Monkey Knowledge menu and buying the purchase that unlocks Rank 30 immediately to start earning Monkey Knowledge. The total amount that can be earned (by reaching level 155 and getting all achievements with Knowledge Point rewards) is actually 137. More Knowledge Points may be earned through achievements, and it takes 134 points to unlock all of the upgrades. Previous upgrades have to be unlocked to unlock upgrades further down the tree that are more powerful. Some upgrades require a certain amount of points to be spent in the tree before being unlocked and are lower on their tree. Starting from Level 30, almost every level up will reward the player with 1 Knowledge Point to use. Each tree features many different upgrades and perks that can be unlocked with Monkey Knowledge Points. There are 6 different upgrade trees for Primary Monkeys, Military Monkeys, Magic Monkeys, Support Monkeys, Heroes, and Powers. Monkey Knowledge is an enhancement system in Bloons TD 6 that allows the player to unlock incremental improvements for their towers. Glue gunner doesn't need alchemist but does need to be at the front of the track while still being in Obyn's/village's radius.Monkey Knowledge main menu as featured in Version 1.0.1, featuring 6 categories of upgrades Replace Ice Tower and Super Monkey with a 0-2-4 Glue Gunner (if budget allows, it can be 0-2-5 but I can't remember if it allows). Keep the bomb tower in the radius of both Obyn and village. Variation: When Spike Factory doesn't work well, replace it with a 0-2-4 bomb tower buffed with a 4-0-0 alchemist. This is more flexible though as long as you are slowing things down. On some tracks Spike Factory won't work, but I'll explain that later.Īfter that I usually put a 0-3/4-2 Ice Tower (3 is most important, 4 if you can make it) and a 2-0-3 Super monkey in the same radius as Obyn and the village. Adjust your build order according to the needs of the track. You can vary that slightly, but those are my key players. Don't waste money on it in CHIMPS (thought it is fine in other modes assuming you have more budget due to farms and such). You don't need MIB on the Town Center with this setup. Basically Obyn and the village should side by side so they cover the same area as much as possible. 2-2-0 village in range of Wizard, Obyn, and Ninja. Obyn first, then 4-0-2 ninja in his radius, more toward the back of the track, 4-0-0 alchemist (don't waste money on other paths, just the top) on ninja, finish making the ninja 5-0-2, 2-0-5 spike factory at exit, set to close, buff with 4-0-0 alchemist, 5-0-2 Wizard in Obyn's radius and toward front of track buffed with 4-0-0 alchemist.
